Pokemon Go December 2024 Community Day Features Returning ‘Mons

Anyone who missed a Community Day in Pokemon Go in 2024 will have a second chance, as they’re all going to be appearing in a collect-a-thon as one of December’s events.

Pokemon Go Community Day events cause specific ‘Mons to spawn in increased numbers. Usually, they possess a unique move or trait that separates them from the regular versions of their kind, sometimes making them highly prized in competitive formats.

The official Pokemon Go website has announced that every single ‘Mon that appeared in a 2024 Community Day will reappear from Saturday, December 21, and Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Throughout the Community Day hours, the following bonuses will be in effect:

• 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
• 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
• 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
• One additional Special Trade can be made, for a maximum of two per day.
• Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.

On Saturday, December 21, the following Pokemon will spawn in greater numbers and have a chance of being Shiny:

• Bellsprout
• Chansey
• Goomy
• Rowlet
• Litten
• Bounsweet

On Sunday, December 22, the following Pokemon will spawn in greater numbers and have a chance of being Shiny:

• Mankey
• Ponyta
• Galarian Ponyta
• Sewaddle
• Tynamo
• Popplio

• Victreebel – Evolve Weepinbell (Bellsprout’s Evolution) to get a Victreebel that knows the Fast Attack Magical Leaf.
• Rapidash and Galarian Rapidash – Evolve Ponyta or Galarian Ponyta to get a Rapidash or Galarian Rapidash that knows the Charged Attack Wild Charge.
• Slowbro, Galarian Slowbro, Slowking, and Galarian Slowking – Evolve Slowpoke or Galarian Slowpoke to get a Slowbro, Galarian Slowbro, Slowking, or Galarian Slowking that knows the Charged Attack Surf.
• Typhlosion – Evolve Quilava (Cyndaquil’s Evolution) to get a Typhlosion that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
• Blissey – Evolve Chansey to get a Blissey that knows the Charged Attack Wild Charge.
• Togekiss – Evolve Togetic (Togepi’s Evolution) to get a Togekiss that knows the Charged Attack Aura Sphere.
