In Alan Wake 2, in addition to the story and missions, there are also some hidden items for you to find throughout each area. These collectibles serve a purpose, whether it’s to enhance your game play or allow you to make upgrades. The hidden collectibles found in each area may include various charms, the Koskela brother commercials, and lunch boxes.

There are a total of 21 Alex Casey lunch boxes are hidden throughout the game in 3 different areas, but you may have to go off the beaten path to find some of them. When you interact with them, you’ll earn manuscript fragments that you can use to upgrade weapons for Saga. You will know you’re getting close when you see colorful dreamcatchers as well as colorful stones. You can actually find an item that will allow you to see the hidden collectibles in your vicinity on the map. The lunch boxes will show up as a lunch box symbol on the map.

All Cauldron Lake Lunchbox Locations
Starting at Cauldron Lake, there will be a total of 8 lunch boxes in this area. Keep in mind that some of these lunch boxes may not be found your first time going to Cauldron Lake.
First Lunch Box: Behind FBC Station
Head over to the FBC Station, to the right of the murder site on the map. Walk behind and to the right of the building. Climb up the ledge, and a few steps ahead of you will be the lunchbox on the ground next to a lantern.
Second Lunch Box: Top Left Cauldron Lake
When looking at the map, you will want to go to the top left where you may see a question mark. It will be directly to the right of the Witchfinder’s Station, across the stream and at the edge of the path. On this path, you will see a wooden fence with a notice board about Mortar Falls. If you go to the left of this board, go behind the brush, and to your left, you will find the lunch box hidden behind the orange bush.
Third Lunch Box: Left Of Murder Site
The next lunch box you will find to the left of the murder site on the map. Follow the path that’s going downward on the left of the murder site and walk toward the question mark on the map. You will find a small camp site with a yellow tent. Go to the left of the tent, and you will see some fabric hanging against some branches. There will be a lunch box on the ground to the right of this.
Fourth Lunch Box: Rental Cabins
Next, you will want to travel to the right of the map as the next lunch box will be located at the Rental Cabins. You will need to have the bolt cutters to open the gate. Once you’re through the gate, run through both doors of the house straight ahead of you, then veer to your right.
There will be another open door to your right between two chairs. Immediately upon entering this door, take a sharp left, and there will be a lunch box sitting on the cabinet behind the door.
Fifth Lunch Box: Witchfinder’s Station
Head up to the Witchfinder’s Station at the top left of the map to find the next lunch box. When standing on the path looking at the station, turn around, and you should see a dreamcatcher on a tree behind you. Run straight behind it, following the path a few feet, then veer to your left. The lunch box will be in some brush surrounded by some colorful stones.
Sixth Lunch Box: Above Witch’s Hut
On the map, you will find the Witch’s Hut above the General Store. Go above the hut to the Y in the path. You should see a red wooden box against a rock. From this red box, go to your left and follow the river to the waterfall. You will come to a fallen tree, and to your left, you will see the lunch box.
Seventh Lunch Box: Witch’s Hut
The next lunch box at Cauldron Lake will be at the Witch’s Hut. When you leave the hut, take a right and go over the bridge. Follow the path until you reach a chair next to a red cooler. Turn directly around, and the lunch box will be a few feet from the cooler hidden in the brush.
Eighth Lunch Box: Bony-Legged Path
On the map, you will want to be on the path to the left of the Bony-Legged Path between the 2 blockages. Head to the upper blockage, and when you reach the fallen trees, the lunch box will be hidden on the ground to the left.

All Bright Falls Lunch Box Locations
Bright Falls will have a total of 7 lunch boxes that you can find throughout the town utilizing the map for the various locations.
First Lunch Box: Valhalla Nursing Home Manor
Head over to the Valhalla Nursing Home to the left of the map and go to the Manor. When you walk inside, go in the Admin Office on your right, and you will find the lunch box on the dresser to your left.
Second Lunch Box: Below Valhalla Nursing Home
Looking on the map below the Valhalla Nursing Home, you will see the Ranger Station. If you zoom in, you will see a thin trail dipping down diagonally to the right of the station. You will want to be on the upper trail, with the dipping down trail under you, and head to the left. If you have the charm equipped, you may see the lunch box symbol on the dipping down portion of the trail.
While on this trail, you will see some colorful stones on the rocks to the left of you next to the entrance of another trail. The tree to the left of this trail will have a colorful dreamcatcher. Head up this trail, and you will see another tree with a dreamcatcher. To the left of that 2nd tree will be the lunch box surrounded by colorful stones.
Third Lunch Box: To The Right Of Valhalla Nursing Home
From your previous location, turn around and follow that thin trail straight to your right. You will find the next lunch box just before it meets the darker trail line. If the charm is equipped, you’ll see the lunch box symbol between the darker trail line and the water when looking at the map.
Heading toward the lake down that narrow path, veer to your right before you get to the orange tree with multiple trunks. On a small hill overlooking the water will be the lunch box surrounded by colorful rocks and a dreamcatcher on a tree.
Fourth Lunch Box: Billie’s Boatyard
Head over to Billie’s Boatyard, located between the town and Valhalla Nursing Home. Looking at the water tower, head to the right on the other side of the fence. You will go up a small hill overlooking the water, and in the dirt just before the long grass, you will find the lunch box.
Fifth Lunch Box: Left Of Valhalla Nursing Home
Following the darker trail line on the map coming from the left side of the Wellness Center, you should see multiple trees with those colorful decorations. Head through the first two decorated trees, veer slightly to your left, and keep moving forward to find the lunch box nesting in the middle of the colorful stones at the base of another tree with a dreamcatcher on it.
Sixth Lunch Box: Biltmore Ave Park
To the right of the Oh Deer Diner, you will find the next lunch box on Biltmore Ave in a park. Go through the fence next to the sign that says “Grand Reopening” and veer to your right. Past the bench, you will see a dreamcatcher, and directly behind it, the lunch box will be resting in the shadows at the base of the bigger tree with multiple trunks.
Seventh Lunch Box: Between Nursing Home & Bunker Woods
The final lunch box in Bright Falls can be found at the Y in the path heading from the Bunker Woods toward the Valhalla Nursing Home. When you reach the sign for the Ranger Cabin and Valhalla Nursing Home, take a left and head up the trail. You should notice some trees with dreamcatchers on them. A few feet ahead of you will be colorful stones with a lunch box.

All Watery Lunch Box Locations
In Watery, there will be a total of 6 lunch boxes for you to find throughout the little town.
First Lunch Box: Radio Tower
You will want to travel to the radio tower at the very top of the map. Past the radio tower, head diagonally left toward the tip of this area. The lunch box will be located next to a rock ledge.
Second Lunch Box: Above Latte Lagoon
On the map, head above the Latte Lagoon to the tip of the trail. This lunch box will be next to a white tent surrounded by colorful stones.
Third Lunch Box: Coffee World Pillar
The next lunch box will be found just below Coffee World on the path. When you see the entrance to Coffee World, you will find the lunch box inside the yellow pillar on the right of the gate.
Fourth Lunch Box: Lighthouse Trailer Park
Head over to the Lighthouse Trailer Park. This lunch box will be located to the left of the park and above the trailer on the left of the path. Go over to the swings, and behind them, you will see a dreamcatcher on a tree with some colorful stones surrounding the lunch box next to it.
Fifth Lunch Box: Kalevala Knights Workshop
At the top of the map, you will want to be next to the Kalevala Knights Workshop to find the next lunch box. It will be located to the right of the workshop hidden in the shadows next to a shack with blue pails next to it.
Sixth Lunch Box: Near Watery Lighthouse
Go toward the bottom of the map, and you will want to be on the path located to the left of the Watery Lighthouse on the map. You will find a building you can save in, and the lunch box will be behind it near the ledge of the cliff.
