Disney and Epic Games are teaming up again for another Fortnite and Star Wars collaboration, releasing a schedule on when things will be dropping, while also revealing a brand-new Sith Lord, or rather, the confirmation of one of the longest-running fan theories.
There’s a new trailer confirming some of the new skins coming our way alongside confirmation of new updates hitting the game almost every week!

Fortnite Gets Another Star Wars Collaboration And This One Kicks Off Season 3
The trailer and info were shared at the Star Wars Celebration held in Japan. Players can expect weekly gameplay content, a Star Wars themed Battle Pass, and even a live end of season narrative event!
The trailer also features Darth Jar Jar! As if people didn’t hate the character enough.
When it comes to updates, Epic Games has revealed a mini roadmap extending all the way to June.
- May 2: Imperial Takeover
- May 8: The Pull of the Force
- May 22: Mandalorian Rising
- May 29: Star Destroyer Bombardment
- June 7: Death Star Sabotage
While it’s unconfirmed whether we’ll be seeing a new game update drop on the exat dates, given the frequency of Epic Games’ patch roll out, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a client download pop for each of those dates.
Expect new cosmetics, gameplay updates, new events and the like in every marked day there.

Interestingly enough, the trailer features a remixed version of Dua Lipa’s song, “Levitating.” Perhaps after Sabrina Carpenter, Epic plans to maybe feature the artist in a new Festival Season? Just guessing here, but that wouldn’t be out of place for the battle royale.
We’re more than a few weeks away from May 2, so get your Star Wars hype on since things are about to get messy with the Force involved.
