Slowly but surely, we’re learning more and more about Grand Theft Auto 6.
Since the release of its second trailer earlier this year, confirming its May 26th, 2026 release date, we’ve seen a slow trickle of information released for the game, both official and unofficial.
In May, we had the news that GTA 6 will allow people to run medical marijuana dispensaries, marking the return of drug sales for the first time since Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
There’s also Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick’s desire to create the best thing “ever seen in entertainment,” which should surprise no one. Devolver Digital co-founder Nigel Lowrie said that he expects GTA 6 to be the first ever “AAAAA” game, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, seeing that its launch will dwarf anything seen in video games.
Today, we have some leaked information about some of the parodies upcoming in GTA 6. After all, it wouldn’t be Grand Theft Auto without plenty of satire, and it looks like Rockstar is taking aim at some of today’s most popular websites and apps.
Grand Theft Auto 6 May Be Making Fun of OnlyFans, WhatsApp, Uber, And More
As spotted by GTAForums.com, Take-Two registered domains for the following websites earlier this year:
- what-up.app
- rydeme.app
- buckme.app
- leonidagov.org
- brianandbradley.com
- hookers-galore.com
- wipeoutcornskin.com
- myboyhasacreepycorndog.com
I wouldn’t be surprised if all of these websites are designed to be a satirical take on some of the most-used mobile apps and websites today.
Reddit users have their theories as to what these sites could be used for. what-up.app is apparently a WhatsApp parody, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some connection to TikTok, especially given the content of the game’s first trailer. Rydeme.app is Uber/Lyft, buckme.app could be Venmo/CashApp, and hookers-galore.com is most likely OnlyFans or Tinder related.
Beyond that, BrianAndBradley.com is most likely based on Morgan & Morgan, a large personal injury law firm based in Florida, which is the inspiration for the state of Leonida. Speaking of Leonida, yeah, leonidagov.org is the Leonida State website.
As for wipeoutcornskin.com and myboyhasacreepycorndog.com, yeah, those are a little tricky. I wouldn’t be surprised to see these two related to Rockstar’s political commentary on the nature of the United States.
