Lies Of P: 18 Best Weapons, Ranked

Lies of P can’t quite hold a candle to the likes of Elden Ring in terms of weapon variety, but the game does offer a pretty good selection of armaments to choose from. Whether you prefer more generic Daggers and Swords, or anime-style Large Blunt weapons, there’s a little something for everybody here. However, while your choice of weapon is largely down to personal preference, some options are most definitely better than others.

One of the things that separates Lies of P from other soulslike games is the ability to mismatch the different blades and handles of each weapon, allowing players to craft an array of different weapon combos. However, not all weapons can be disassembled. With that in mind, we decided to ignore disassembly in our following list of the best weapons in Lies of P. Expect only the absolute best of the standard and Special Weapons here – but feel free to experiment with your own unique combinations.

18 Electric Coil Stick

Fast Early Game Weapon That Deals Electrical Damage

The Electric Coil Stick is a fantastic early-game weapon that can act as a good replacement for your starting sword. Though this weapon doesn’t have the best range, what it lacks in reach it more than makes up for in speed. The Electric Coil Stick is also a relatively light weapon that gets a B scaling in Advance and a C scaling in Motivity, making it suitable for a wide variety of builds. Its biggest selling point, however, is its ability to deal with electrical damage.

The Electric Coil Stick comes with the helpful Generate Fable Art that gives you electrical damage on demand. It’s not as fancy as other Fable Arts, but it’s certainly reliable. Meanwhile, the secondary Fable Art is a classic jump attack. Again, nothing special, but that’s to be expected from an early-game weapon. You can buy the Electric Coil Stick from the Wandering Merchant found Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard for only 1,200 Ergo.

17 Circular Electric Chainsaw

Unique Buzzsaw With A Spinning Fable Art

Although classified as a Blunt weapon, the Circular Electric Chainsaw is neither blunt nor a chainsaw. But details aside, this is a unique weapon that can quickly dismember small Puppets with ease, while also inflicting a significant amount of damage upon larger ones. The weapon is needlessly heavy, but it does get bonus points for being able to inflict Electric Blitz damage. The A scaling in Advance is yet another reason why the Circular Electric Chainsaw made the list, providing you with the means to rack up effective electric damage on opponents.

The weapon’s Condensing Slash Fable Art comes in the form of a slash attack, capable of being charged to deal extra damage. When fully charged, the attack can make short work of small groups of enemies, or take a reasonable amount of health out of larger enemies. The Circular Electric Chainsaw also gets Endure as its secondary Fable Art, which is great for nullifying incoming damage whilst guarding. However, this weapon ranks fairly low on this list, mainly because it is only effective against Puppet enemies. The Circular Electric Chainsaw can be purchased for 3,200 Ergo from the Wandering Merchant in the Lorenzini Arcade.

16 Etiquette

Fast And Light Dagger With Defensive Capabilities

Etiquette is a spiffy-looking Dagger that’s essentially just an umbrella. This is one of the lighter weapons on this list, with a damage output on the lower side when compared to other entries. However, Etiquette is not to be overlooked because it can be used as both an offensive and defensive implement. Sporting a built-in guard with both its Heavy Attack and Absolute Counterattack Fable Art, Etiquette is one of the few weapons capable of nullifying incoming damage with a perfectly time attack.

Etiquette’s primary Fable Art is a basic stab that deals a lot of damage, and is quite effective for slaying most base enemies. The secondary Fable Art, on the other hand, is a lot more interesting. The Fable Art allows you to shrug off even the most punishing of blows and retaliate with a powerful counterattack immediately after. Granted, the player does need to be good at perfect blocks to pull it off. Etiquette can be acquired by defeating the Scrapped Watchman and trading its rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the weapon.

15 Carcass Crystal Axe

Reliable Axe Capable Of Dealing AoE Acid Damage

The Carcass Crystal Axe is a pretty unique Blunt weapon that is capable of inflicting acid damage, making it quite effective against Human enemies. The Carcass Crystal Axe is a fairly well-rounded option that gets a B scaling in Advance and a D scaling in Technique. However, the Physical ATK of this weapon is not exactly great when considering its C scaling in Motivitiy, and the slow attack speed does make building up acid damage rather tedious at times.

The Carcass Crystal Axe’s Fable Arts aren’t anything to write home about either, but they can get the job done. The primary one is an explosion that deals acid damage in a radius, while the secondary one temporarily decreases stamina consumption. You can buy the Carcass Crystal Axe from Test Subject 826 for 3,700 Ergo, which is a quite cheap price all things considered. You’ll find Test Subject 826 on Rosa Isabelle Street – if you send him there after defeating Laxasia the Complete.

14 Coil Mjolnir

Large Hammer That Deals AOE Electrical Damage

The Coil Mjolnir is a beefy Blunt weapon inspired by Thor’s eponymous hammer. This weapon has a fairly respectable level of Physical ATK, and a fairly high Damage Reduction Rate while Guarding. Coil Mjolnir isn’t the fastest weapon by any means, but it does possess plenty of attack power and a B scaling in Motivity, making it rather suitable for Motivity (strength) builds.

The Coil Mjolnir also has a fantastic Fable Art that deals electrical damage in a radius around you, while also imbuing the weapon with Electric Blitz for a short duration. The second Fable Art, Absolute Defense, is also great for perfect blocking attacks without having to get the timing right. The hammer can be found in Krat Central Station, one of the first areas of the game. However, you won’t be able to acquire it during your first visit and will have to come back later for it.

13 Acidic Crystal Spear

Great Acidic Advance Dagger

The Acidic Crystal Spear may not rank as high as other weapons in terms of Physical ATK. However, this Advance-based Dagger is lightweight and fast attacking, allowing you to effectively poke enemies. Pair this with the weapons ability to dish out Acidic damage, and you have yourself a weapon capable of racking up some serious damage that will tick away at enemy health over time.

While the Acidic Crystal Spear is mostly effective against Human enemies, and slightly weak against Puppets and Carcasses, it does provide slightly better range than weapons like the Salamander Dagger and the Master Chef’s Knife – making it a decent upgrade to its various Dagger counterparts. Those of you looking to acquire the Acidic Crystal Spear will be able to find it just ahead of the Path Of The Pilgrim Stargazer.

12 Acidic Great Curved Sword

Well-Rounded Greatsword With Acid Damage

The Acidic Great Curved Sword is more of a glaive than an actual sword, but that’s neither here nor there. Unlike the Acidic Crystal Spear, the Physical ATK of this weapon is pretty moderate, making it a little better equipped against Puppets and Carcass enemies. Acid imbument aside, this is a solid weapon with well-rounded stats, fitting a variety of builds thanks to its versatile scaling.

Despite what its name might suggest, the Acidic Great Curved Sword isn’t permanently imbued with Acid. Instead, the elemental damage kicks in once the player activates the Acid Slash Fable Art. The Fable Art comes in the form of a powerful slash attack that temporarily imbues the weapon with Acid upon finishing. The move costs three Fable Charges, so you won’t have the chance to use it all that often. The secondary Fable Art, Absolute Defense, is just a perfect block – great for defense. The Acidic Great Curved Sword can be found inside a chest close to the Abbey Outer Wall Stargazer.

11 Big Pipe Wrench

Large Blunt High Damage Weapon

The Big Pipe Wrench is a ridiculously oversized Large Blunt weapon that weighs a ton and takes ages to swing. However, this weapon also hits like a truck, and can make short work of enemies provided you time your swings properly. The Big Pipe Wrench is one of the highest-rated weapons in terms of Physical ATK and gets a very respectable B scaling in Motivity, making it ideal for strength-based builds.

The Big Pipe Wrench’s Fable Arts are pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a weapon like this. The Patient Smash Fable Art is exceedingly powerful, dishing out immense damage the longer you hold the Fable Art button. The Payback Swing Fable Art is also decent, capable of delivering a slightly faster attack. The Big Pipe Wrench can be found fairly early on in the game in the Venigni Works area, sitting inside a chest.

10 Live Puppet’s Axe

High Damage Heavy Weapon

The Live Puppet’s Axe is one of the best weapons in Lies of P in terms of raw damage. However, it’s also one of the heaviest ones. This tradeoff is worth it considering this weapon is capable of one-shotting certain enemies, though wielding the Live Puppet’s Axe effectively can be a bit of a challenge. Players will need to tailor their Capacity stat, along with the weapons they carry, effectively to wield it. However, if you do have the strength for it, this is a fantastic weapon to utilize against some of the tougher bosses in the game.

As if its base damage wasn’t already ridiculous enough, the Live Puppet’s Axe comes with the Killer Attack Fable Art – one which dishes out immense damage upon activation. The secondary Fable Art is good old Endure, which pops up a lot in various weapons. However, when considering a strength build, it is an invaluable asset for making it through enemy attacks that are tough to Perfect Guard. You can find the Live Puppet’s Axe inside a chest on top of a tower in the Barren Swamp.

9 Exploding Pickaxe

Large Blunt Weapon That Deals Heavy Fire Damage

The Exploding Pickaxe is a Large Blunt weapon whose name tells you everything you need to know about it. In addition to hitting enemies with explosive force, the weapon also inflicts fire damage thanks to its Flamestrike Fable Art. Like most of the best strength-based weapons, the Exploding Pickaxe gets a solid B scaling in Motivity and has a high attack rating, but suffers in the speed and weight departments.

The Exploding Pickaxe’s primary Fable Art, Flamestrike, is where the weapon gets its name from. Flamestrike is a powerful jump attack that allows the player to deal AoE fire damage to surrounding enemies. The weapon becomes temporarily imbued with fire following the attack, allowing for equally devastating follow-ups. Meanwhile, the secondary Fable Art is just a buff that temporarily decreases stamina consumption, great for dealing out a flurry of Heavy Attacks in quick succession. You can find the Exploding Pickaxe inside a safe in the Estella Opera House.

8 Frozen Feast

Fast Attacking High Damage Weapon

The Frozen Feast is a badass-looking crystal Greatsword that’s said to possess minor time manipulation powers. The sword is very slow at first, but swings significantly faster with each subsequent hit. This makes it quite a neat heavy weapon for dishing out combo attacks. As is common for weapons with a B Motivity scaling or higher, the Frozen Feast has high physical attack, but will weigh you down substantially.

The Fable Arts of the Frozen Feast are also pretty great. Liberate, for example, increases your attack speed for a short duration. Liberate also only eats up a single Fable Art Charge, allowing you to mitigate the slow attack speed of this weapon often. The secondary Fable Art is just a slash attack, so nothing too interesting there. You can acquire Frozen Feast by defeating Champion Victor and trading his rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the weapon.

7 Holy Sword Of The Ark

Unique Boss Weapon Capable Of Altering Its Size

The Holy Sword of the Ark is a boss weapon that looks like a pretty typical Greatsword. However, this weapon has a lot more going on for it than first meets the eye. Among other things, it can change its length and has a hidden five-hit combo moveset. In addition, the Holy Sword of the Ark deals a ton of damage and gets a B scaling in Motivity, along with a C scaling in Technique. The only thing dragging this weapon down a couple of notches is its weight.

The Holy Sword of the Ark comes with a unique Fable Art known as Alter, which lengthens the weapon while also reducing its stamina consumption. Using the primary Fable Art without first altering the weapon results in a generic smash attack. However, this changes to a fancy five-hit combo slash when used while the weapon is transformed. You can acquire the Holy Sword of the Ark by defeating King’s Flame, Fuoco, and trading its rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the blade.

6 Trident Of The Covenant

Powerful Trident With High Critical Strike Rating

The Trident of the Covenant is a boss weapon that comes with good range, above-average damage, and increased durability. The damage may not look particularly impressive compared to some of the other weapons on this list. However, the Trident of the Covenant has a special passive that increases its critical strike rating. This weapon also comes with a B scaling in Technique and a C scaling in Motivity.

The trident’s primary Fable Art, Link Rush Stab, is capable of dishing out massive amounts of damage onto your opponents. The Guard Parry Fable Art is also another useful addition, as it is great for countering enemy attacks when timed correctly. The Trident of the Covenant can be acquired by defeating Fallen Archbishop Andreus and trading its rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the weapon.

5 Puppet Ripper

Great Long Range Technique Weapon

Despite being classified as a sword, the Puppet Ripper looks more like a scythe than anything else – granting it massive style points. But this is not just a fantastic-looking weapon, it’s also a very powerful one. The Puppet Ripper has excellent range, good damage, and gets a B scaling in Technique along with a C scaling in Motivity. If you’re going for a solid Technique build, this is one of the best choices.

The Puppet Ripper’s Storm Spinning Slash Fable Art is truly something to behold, releasing a flurry of attacks capable of dealing with multiple enemies. The other Fable Art, Quick Upward Slash is just as effective. However, it’s aimed more towards single targets. You can acquire the Puppet Ripper by defeating the King of Puppets and trading its rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the scythe.

4 Proof Of Humanity

Great Technique Weapon With High Critical Attack

The Proof Of Humanity is one of the best Technique weapons in Lies Of P, and is a great weapon to use for New Game +. This weapon does have a fairly low damage output when compared to some of the heavier weapons on this list. However, with its 30% Critical Rate – and the ability to consistently dish out critical hits with the Grind Fable Art – you have yourself a fast weapon capable of making short work of some of the toughest of enemies.

Though not as fast as other Technique weapons, the Proof Of Humanity provides the added benefit of a fairly high Damage Reduction Rate while Guarding, along with a great offensive Fable Art. Those of you looking to acquire this boss weapon will be able to receive it upon defeating the Nameless Puppet and trading its Ergo with Alidoro/Hugo.

3 Noblesse Oblige

Heavy Weapon For One-Shotting Puppets

The Noblesse Oblige may look like an ordinary club, but this is secretly one of the best weapons in Lies of P. Granted, it’s also one of the heaviest weapons in the game, but ranks fairly low in durability. The main selling point of the Noblesse Oblige is its high Physical ATK, along with its A scaling in Motivity.

The Noblesse Oblige’s primary Fable Art is a straightforward smash attack that obliterates anything caught in its path. It’s certainly not subtle, but it’s very effective. Meanwhile, the secondary Fable Art is a buff that makes you able to tank enemy attacks for a short time. You can acquire the Noblesse Oblige by defeating Simon Manus, Awakened God, and trading its rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the weapon.

2 Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive

High-Damage Technique Scaling Weapon

The Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive is the first weapon to be added to Lies Of P post-launch and saw its debut as part of the Wo Long Fallen Dynasty collaboration. Though sporting a B scaling in Technique, this Greatsword sports a decently high Physical ATK on par with that of the lower scaling Motivity weapons. Though slightly on the heavier side in terms of Technique-based weapons, the Azure Dragon Cresent Glaive is great in terms of speed, and also possesses quite a bit of range with its attacks.

The Fable Arts it possesses are also pretty high-ranking, with Deflect Counterattack serving as a great way to disrupt enemy attacks. Storm Slash is also a pretty decent offensive Fable Art, capable of lunging the player forward and dishing out a combo of high-damage attacks. With both high damage and high mobility, the Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive is easily one of the top weapons to use in Lies Of P – one that is available for all players since its release.

1 Two Dragons Sword

Lightning-Fast Sword With Amazing Damage Potential

The Two Dragons Sword is a beautiful Hwando, and arguably the best and most versatile weapon in the game. As you might expect from a weapon like this, the Two Dragons Sword is very fast and light, has good reach, and allows the player to remain highly mobile while delivering punishing blows. The blade’s damage is only average, but keep in mind that the DPS will be very high when paired with its quick attack speed. The Two Dragons Sword gets an honorable A scaling in Technique, making it the go-to weapon for Technique (dexterity) builds.

Unsurprisingly, the Two Dragons Sword’s primary Fable Art relies on mobility. Upon use, the player dashes forward and quickly unleashes a couple of powerful attacks. The other Fable Art is even more impressive as it allows you to blow a wind of swords in a cone in front of you that damages everything in a wide radius. The main benefit of this weapon, however, is the built-in Parry of this weapon’s Heavy Attack. The Two Dragons Sword can be acquired by defeating the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster and trading its rare Ergo to Alidoro in exchange for the weapon.
