EStAL was launched in 2002 as the first pan-European journal dedicated to State aid law. The journal is known for closely monitoring and shaping the reforms, changes and overall developments in the world of State aid. It is a primary point of reference for academics, policymakers and practitioners. The editors of EStAL welcome submissions for the upcoming issues, published online and in print of the following:

We encourage authors to write on all major areas of State aid law, economics and policy. To guarantee EStAL’s high standards, all articles are subject to double blind peer review before acceptance for publication and are required to conform to the Author Guidelines.
