After 12 long years, 7 Days To Die is finally leaving early access and gearing up for an official 1.0 release. With over 220,000 reviews on Steam and a ‘very positive’ review badge, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners will soon be able to get in on the action as 7 Days To Die’s 1.0 release will also mark the game’s re-launch on consoles.

While the PC version of 7 Days To Die is developed and published by The Fun Pimps, the studio did license its IP to Telltale Games some years ago, which allowed Telltale to publish 7 Days To Die on consoles. Unfortunately, Telltale Games went defunct back in 2018, leading to some complicated legal proceedings between The Fun Pimps and Telltale Games.
