Borderlands 4 Will Feature The Largest Collection Of Weapons In Franchise History
Speaking to Games Radar, senior project producer Anthony Nicholson mentioned that they are always adding more guns, customization options, and other features to the game.
“Borderlands 4 will feature billions of weapons and accessories for players to acquire,” Nicholson states. Does this mean we’ll get a new tier of rarity regarding armaments? Nicholson wouldn’t confirm or deny that but said the developers “want[s] to create exciting moments when a rare weapon, item, or something altogether unexpected drops.”
Given that not much about the game has been shared so far, a new rarity tier might be one of the new things added to the latest iteration of the franchise since it hasn’t seen any drastic changes for quite some time now.

If this promise is true, Borderlands fans are in for a treat. The varied weapon pool is one of the game’s main draws and certainly adds to the combat experience.
Borderlands 4 is set for release sometime this year, but 2K Games has not specified exactly when. Expect more news about the looter shooter to make its way out in the coming weeks and months.
