Destiny 2 has previously embraced collabs with popular franchises, such as Street Fighter 6, which introduced the Chun-li emotes, Ryu-inspired Ghost shells, and Blanka-themed helmets to the game. While the crossovers may not be as intense and frequent as in Fortnite, they add a fresh layer of appeal to the game’s premium offerings.
Beyond the Star Wars collaboration, the upcoming Destiny 2 update improves the Trials of Osiris to make the PvP mode more accessible. You can also look forward to a new Nether activity, updates to ability sandboxing, and a buffed exotic weapon that enhances the original narrative and gameplay design.
This crossover offers a unique opportunity to merge Star Wars’ timeless appeal with Bungie’s sci-fi universe. Beyond the new skins, this move marks the developers’ continued efforts to engage the community as Episode Heresy Act 1 comes with a new era of storytelling and live service content.
With the new activities just days away, the countdown to February 4 has officially begun.
