Helldivers 2 Assaults Xbox Series X|S This August

It looks like the rumors were true! Arrowhead Game Studios’ best-selling multiplayer game, Helldivers 2, is headed to Xbox Series X|S. and it’s out soon.

Published by PlayStation, this marks a major milestone for the company, as aside from MLB The Show, Sony really hasn’t been generous when it comes to sharing first-party games on Xbox platforms.

The Helldivers have won the war against the Illuminate, but all is not well with the game’s Chinese community.

That changes this August when Helldivers 2 officially launches on Xbox Series X}S.

The announcement was made via a devstream by Arrowhead Game Studios today which confirmed Helldivers 2 is deploying on Xbox Series X|S on August 26, 2025. Yes, that means a month from now, Xbox players will be able to help in the fight for Super Earth!

Both the regular vanilla version and the Super Citizen Edition will be available for Xbox gamers. The vanilla version will cost $39.99 and will include the base game,. while the Super Citizen Edition will cost $59.99, and inclde the following bonuses:

‘DP-53 Savior of the Free’ Armour Set
‘Will of the People’ Cape.
‘MP-98 Knight’ Weapon
Super Citizen Status
Stratagem Hero Ship Game
Premium Warbond Token

Gamers who pre-order either version will receive three armor sets as bonuses:

‘TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand’ – Promotional armor made by SUMY Corp. as part of a highly successful marketing campaign for frozen yogurt
‘TR-62 Knight’ – Crafted to deliver Justice to the darkest crevices of the galaxy
