One of the strongest points in Unicorn Overlord’s favor is the sheer amount of playable characters and varied classes on offer. Players can choose to play and customize their unit formations around specifc characters that join their party, their classes and their then eventually, around their advanced classes as well.

While a lot of characters naturally join the resistance, some are harder than others. Vanillaware has ensured players that they can absolutely recruit every single recruitable character in the game if the make the right decisions. However, keep in mind that some characters, like Gammel and Mandrin, will become permanently hostile if you make the wrong choice, while others, like Ochlys, will only join your party after you complete their request.
