New Kingdom Hearts Hot Topic Collection Announced

The Hot Topic clothing collaboration with the Kingdom Hearts franchise is now live, with customers able to deck themselves out like a Tetsuya Nomura character, including outfits based on Organization XIII.

Video game crossovers with clothing brands are nothing new. The only issue is that the prices tend to be ridiculously high, as was the case with the Jet Set Radio x HIDDEN collab. That’s the cost that needs to be paid for people who want to rep their favorite franchises, especially if they’re not into cosplay and are looking for clothing for conventions.

Hot Topic is doing a crossover with the Kingdom Hearts franchise, with outfits available to purchase now on the company’s official website. These will be of special interest to those who love Organization XIII and want to walk around like they’re one of Axel’s friends.

The clothing on offer includes black robes that resemble the Organization XIII uniform. There’s also a white and black shirt with the group’s logo on it, with a pattern more befitting a referee than a villain from a stylish JRPG franchise.

The collaboration extends beyond clothing, with fans able to purchase Keyblade jewelry, King Mickey hair clips, and Sora lip gloss. Why the lip gloss has Sora on it is anyone’s guess, but it’s there for anyone who wants it.

Naturally, the clothing is quite expensive, with the Organization XIII gear costing just under eighty dollars. The Keyblade jorts are nearly sixty dollars, but that’s a small price to pay to look like anime Fred Durst.

The Kingdom Hearts x Hot Topic sells itself to the fans, especially those dying to look like characters from the game. Maybe those same fans can make their own version of Kingdom Hearts 4 while they’re at it, as it might not launch before their seventieth birthday.
