Summary
- Pokemon Go’s “Small Yet Strong” event showcases Bug-type ‘Mons.
- Shiny Nymble debuts in the event alongside different colored Flabebe based on location.
- The event features various wild spawns, egg hatches, and raid appearances of Bug, Fairy, and Poison-type Pokemon.
The developers of Pokemon Go have announced one of the big events for February 2025, with “Small Yet Strong” featuring lots of Bug-type Pokemon for players to chase.
The Bug-types of the mainline Pokemon games were unfairly maligned for a long time, mostly due to a poor showing in the Gen 1 and 2 games. Having powerful Bug-types would have been a great counter for the dominant Psychic-type, but Game Freak decided to give them all bad stats and even worse moves.
