Summary
- Tony Hawk wants players to discover new music in Pro Skater 3+4 by adding new tracks by the same artists.
- Some fan-favorite tracks were replaced in the upcoming game to inject freshness and enhance the discovery experience.
- The game features cross-platform online multiplayer, new parks, revamped goals, and enhanced controls, set to release on July 11.
While licensed music is nothing new to video games, in a game like Tony Haw’s Pro Skater 3+4, the soundtrack is more noticeable, given how the music should blend with the skater culture.
Just a few days ago, Activision revealed the official soundtrack for the upcoming re-release of the skating games, and fans quickly noticed how some old favorites were removed to add new songs. It’s not Activision trying to avoid paying music license fees or anything of the sort, as Tony Hawk himself changed it.

Tony Hawk Wants Players To Discover New Music While Playing Pro Skater 3+4
If you notice some fan-favorite tracks are missing, it’s because Tony Hawk has decided to inject new music into the game. Commenting on Instagram (via VGC), Hawl said, “It was my choice to pick some different songs by the same artists featured in THPS3+4 OST. I’m hoping that discovery is half the fun, and a big reason that these soundtracks resonated in the first place. So listen and enjoy the ride. More to come… both old and new.”
Curious about which music tracks are returning and which ones are new. Here’s a breakdown:
New Tracks:
- Vince Staples – Norf Norf
- Speed of Light – Kill the Vibe
- Twenty One Children – Looney Bin
- Fontaines D.C. – Boys in the Better Land
- 100 Gecs – Hollywood Baby
- … and more to come!
Returning Tracks:
- Iron Maiden – 2 Minutes to Midnight
- Run-D.M.C. – My Adidas
- Toy Dolls – She Goes to Finos
- The Faction – Skate & Destroy

- … and even more classics returning!
People can even listen to the Spotfy playlist now if they wish.
