How To Romance Characters
If you want to romance characters, it is a pretty straightforward process. You will need to build Rapport with these characters, which can be done in a number of ways.
- Share Meals Together: One way to build Rapport is to take characters to the Tavern to share meals. Depending on the meal, you can build a lot of Rapport this way.
- Build Rapport in Combat: Anyone in the same unit will build up Rapport with one another, no matter if they win or lose.
- Give Gifts: Characters will act as Guards at certain points, and giving them gifts will build Rapport.
Once you have built Rapport with characters, you will see an increase in a few areas. First, you will see that they now have increased stats if they’re in a unit with people they have Rapport with. Additionally, you will notice that you can have Rapport Conversations, which will give you insights into the character. Finally, a character with enough Rapport with Alain can be the lucky person he marries.
You can check your Rapport with characters at any time by heading to the Rapport menu.
How To Marry Characters
Once you have built enough Rapport with characters, they will be able to do the Rite of Covenant with Alain, which is a marriage ceremony. Here, Alain will give them the Ring of Maiden and take them as his partner, officially marrying the character you want.
