Xbox owners won’t need to wait much longer to dive into HoYoverse’s urban fantasy action-RPG.
The developer hosted a livestream showing off the upcoming Xbox Series X|S version of Zenless Zone Zero, and announced that it will be launching in June alongside version 2.0 of the free-to-play game.
The Microsoft Store page for the game is live now, and is open for wishlisting.
The Xbox version of Zenless Zone Zero will take advantage of the Xbox Series X|S hardware, including DirectX RayTracing and HDR, and will run at native 4K resolution and 60 fps.
What’s more, subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will also receive additional in-game rewards for logging in after major updates, including Polychromes, Dennies, and more.
Head For The Waifei Peninsula
Version 2.0 of Zenless Zone Zero will bring players to the new Waifei Peninsula District for the next chapter of the story, which producer Zhenyu Li describes as a place where “urban life and Hollow exploration closely intertwine,” which in turn will make the narrative more “cohesive and immersive.”
Those who have already played on other platforms will be able to continue on Xbox thanks to cross-progression and flexible server selection, meaning they can link their account regardless of what other platforms they’ve played on.
The Xbox version of Zenless Zone Zero will also support the console’s Quick Resume feature, and will also be playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming with Game Pass Ultimate on other devices. The Xbox version will also include customized vibration feedback from the controller for different kinds of actions.

A Call for More Call of Duty
Before they showed off the Xbox version, HoYoverse hosted a separate livestream showing what fans can expect to see in version 1.7, including two new S-Rank agents in the parasol-wielding Ether Anomaly agent Vivian and the scythe-carrying Ice Attacker Hugo, to be featured in the phase 1 and phase 2 gacha banners respectively.
Zenless Zone Zero is easily one of the better gacha games out there and already has a wide variety of agents to pull for, and it’s only getting better and more fleshed out as time goes on and more characters and story are added.
