What Are the Dragon Age: The Veilguard PS5 Pro Features?
According to EA, the latest Dragon Age game will “lean into the power” of Sony’s PS5 Pro, and players can expect the following enhancements:
- Fidelity and Performance modes will both see improvements on the hardware: Improved resolution in 30 frames-per-second (fps) Fidelity, and 60fps in Performance modes.
- Various improved visual settings across 30fps Fidelity and 60fps Performance mode
- Upgraded image quality via Sony’s AI-based upscaler “PSSR” (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution)
- Raytraced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) enabled in 60fps Performance mode (only available on base PS5 with 30fps Fidelity mode)
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released this October 31 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players can also expect a more inclusive character creation tool in the RPG according to BioWare.
